Bicicleta de Rua

So I finally got un-lazy and built myself a road bike. I was getting tired (Pun!) of commuting across town last fall on my full-suspension mountain bike. Ever since my last road bike broke/got crashed numerous times, I have not put in the time for piecing together another Frankencycle. I got home from the slopes early yesterday and did my time and I now have a working road bike.
It is an old KHS GRAN SPORT. At the moment it is a single speed with a rear derailleur to keep chain tension but I might give into the pressures of modern society and put some shift-o-matics on it.
It works very well, surprisingly, and has a bunch of character too. Thanks Chris for the wheels, tires, and derailleurs.        It fits into the stereotypical inner city Seattle road bike category. I bet if I rode it there I would make allot friends that wore flannel and tight pants and drank coffee. It was 70 degrees yesterday, but today it snowed. Hopefully I can cruise the presidential
streets of Rapid City soon.

On a side note: If you have ever read Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, technically I would be a Frankencyclist and my bike would be a creature-cleta.
