Yesterday, I read through the book Visual Displays of Quantitative Information by Edward Tufte. Oddly enough this book is fascinating. Part of engineering is efficiently and accurately communicating information to engineers and non-engineers alike. This book helped me to understand techniques in doing so better. Below is an image the Tufte describes as possibly the best graph ever made.
