- Ahoy, Ahoy, my name is Scotty and I reside in Rapid City. Rapid City is a quarky little city located right on the edge of the Black Hills of South Dakota. I learn things at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. The Hills are a wonderful playground for outdoor sports, the city is a wonder place to look at statues of presidents and dinosaurs, and the prairie is a wonderful place to get bored. Got-a-love-it.
